Off-Road Engine Programming
You don’t always need to swap a new engine or install new headers, camshafts and valvetrains to boost performance. Adding Jeep ECU programmers and electronics from Advance Adapters will wring everything without so much as changing a hose. Devices such as the JK ProCal Module let off-roaders tweak the factory computer to increase power, acceleration and fuel economy.
Better still, 4WD programming tools allow you to optimize the ECU for other custom upgrades. You can reprogram the speedometer to account for larger tires or bump up the idle speed so you can winch more efficiently. Gadgets also allow for steering wheel centering, running light activation and even changing the gear ratio.
